I purchased my whisper resonator on 3/11 and they still don't even have all the part to make the resonator. They have the parts for the 3.0" , just not the 2.5". ZZP has truly done everything they can, they literally just don't know when the parts will come in. Ive been told "Oh, we will have it shipped next week" like 5 times. Every since 3/11 so just go look at a calender cause I have called every week. Very upset but I know that its out of their control.

Should I just ask them to send me the 3" resonator? I have a 2.5 custom magnaflow that needs a resonator badly, will the 3" work just as well or will it be louder than the 2.5". I keep getting blue balled about when this is coming in.....Should I just change my order to the 3"?

if you go from 2.5 to 3 back to 2.5 theres going to be a restriction where the 3" goes into the 2.5". also it would be hard to mate the two together unless you make a custom piece at the exit. you will probably need a custom piece at the inlet side too

 

I know that it sucks dude and i think we have all been in the situation (I have waited over 2months for a strut tower bar, last wekk i went in a told them not to ******* worry). Just wait it out or order from someone else. stick with the 2.5" res.

 

modern performance has vibrant 2.5" resonators for like 45 bucks i think
