So my dealer tells me my 2006 SS/Sc will be here about sep 28th. so ok thats all good. then yesterday they tell me that my car won't be here until, at the very soonest, December, may be january. What the F@&K? They say that its backordered. more demand than supply. that is bull ****.
Anyone else outhere have this problem?

 

negative, theres 3 of them at my local chevy dealer. It just depends where u live some states r selling them faster than others.

 

Where in Canada?????? My dealer has one sitting on the lot!!!!!!!! Best advice.......go to another dealer. Yours may be playing you!!!

 

yes im in Alberta. but i don't think my dealer is playing me. hell im a Tec there so i don't think im getting played. i ordered it on july 23. they have a 2006 SS/SC in toronto. What color / options do they have?. thanx

 

Mine better not. I ordered mine like august 25 and my dealership said it shoudnt be any long er than 3 or 4 weeks. Hopefully indiana doesnt have alot in line.

 

At my dealership we have 2 SS's on order - GM has them on Hold, we have no clue when we are getting them...

 

Alright guys, get this.. Im 16 so the Cobalt SS S/C will be my first car so as you all can imagine I can not wait.. So i goto the dealer in august hes like alright Arrival Blue Metallic color you will have the car before november.. Im like aighht cool cant wait right.. Now he calls me and says they discountinue and i have to get laser blue, and it will be in before april..

 

It would be nice for some type of tracking system.

Where are in IN. There are 4 SS's at Stanley Chevrolet in McCordsville(N/E of Indy).
I was there Monday nite. They Had an Arrival Blue, Silver, and 2 Blk SS's.

 

Wow, I guess I'm lucky on the Arrival Blue thing :P. I ordered mine just before they discontinued it, go me. Anyway, I was told I'd get mine in September, but it's looking more towards October now. What can I say though? People love this car.

EDIT: Sorry, I spoke too soon.. Dealership called today and said Chevy has had some problems with the Arrival Blue and it will not be available. Blah, blah.. Lazer Blue it is..

yes, ern, seymour indiana, 50 mins south of indy on I 65 has 2 new 06 ss/scs.....a black and an orange....if u are interested i can see what opts they have on them, or anybody else for that matter. my 05 was the first anywhere here for miles around, people still ask me wha the hell kinda car that is anyway, my dealer had to trade 3 times to get mine so i know how long it can take, BUT it is worth the wait!!!

its not wrong for a parent that worked in life to be successful buy their kid a nice car, I pay for everything myself but I'm not gonna say I cannot stand someone who has nice parents.... thats messed up man grow up

Also about the actuall topic... Get used to this problem with a new car, more than likely there is more demand than supply... I'm not driving my 05' SS/SC that was supposed to be built in 4-6 weeks becuase it was never built in time PERIOD... just be patient
