Fuel Cell/Magnafuel Pump install!!!
Been busy taking care of some other things on the car and waiting for parts to come in. Was having trouble getting a hold of a -8 an to -6 an reducer for some odd reason. After 2 letters from Summit saying its on back order and them changing the date even further I finally left work early enough one day to make it to my local hot rod shop and found it in town. I have all I need to plumb the system and make it run. Just missing the level sending unit.
I got the return and boost reference all hooked up and running on the car. Idc's dropped way down as expected. Tried to pulley down but my canister didn't like it and now at any level it'll random fuel cut half way through a power pull. Hooked up a pressure gauge and it raises then gradually drops before cutting out and going into epr.
Be picking at it during the week and hopefully have it done this weekend.

Got some work done on the project today. All the lines are now made and ready to install. Feed line is -8 an from cell to pump and both filters. From post filter to factory metal feed line its -6 an. The whole return side is -6 an using the evap line from under the car. The pump and filters are mounted, just need to wire up the pump now. I will make the vent/roll over line tomorrow, which is quick and easy.
Next I need to line the bottom of the cavity with something so the cell doesn't have metal to metal contact. Thinking heat insulation and some kinda rubber pad maybe.

It's almost done. Last thing left is to wire up the pump. I wanna do the switched ground relay style. Then make a strap to hold the cell in place. That's it.
Today I filled the tiny holes in the floor from removing the battery tray. Lined the floor with heat insulation and a thick foam pad for the cell to lay on a level service. Made the line for the vent/roll over tube with filter. Cleaned the fuel cell out and added the new e85 safe foam. Tied up all the loose ends. Can't wait to get it done tomorrow.

I removed the pump and powered it with my power probe and no go. Called Maganfuel support and they gave me some advise to get it working. Tried that and pumped motor kicked on just fine. Installed in the car and no fuel pressure. Basically the pump turns on, but doesn't supply fuel. I called Managfuel again and they said to ship it back to them and they'll take a look at it. I sent it out yesterday so now I'm waiting.
Basically yes. I'll make a small bracket to keep it fixed, but it must hang that low as it is the roll vent.
Fuel system is finally plumbed and operational. About damn time LOL!!! Pump sounds awesome and very strong.
I have some loose ends to tie up still, like cleaning up the wiring better and making them and the fuel lines more presentable and tucked away better. need to finish making the straps as well.
For now will be taking it on a big local cruise tonight and see how it all does and put some miles on it. I already went driving around today with only 5 gals in the fuel cell(1/4 tank) and no cut outs on accel or turns. I need to see how low it can't get before any issues in braking and turns.

Thanks guys. Car has been driving great over the weekend and has almost 200 miles so far with no issues.
I've taking it to a local car show and then our regular car meets and the responses have been sureprisnely all positive. it's funny to see their face when they look in the trunk and then hear the pump on start up LOL!!
I believe sometime this week I will be dropping the stock gas tank and clamping down the lines better. I have a local car show Nov 1st I'm putting the car in so doing a couple things to make it all look better this week.

I was going to actually shave the stock fill door, but then realized I need it to pass emissions.

Thank you!!! I am super happy with this decision to go this way. Performs better then stock. I've had it down to roughly 1-2 gallons and still no cut out. I won't ever race with that little fuel in it, but good to know it works.
I love how it looks and actually sounds LOL!! People asking about the noise from the back HAHA!! I'm just pleased with how simple the lay out is. Do it man, you won't regret it!! 
As for how its doing or any issues. Only one so far. With less then roughly 3 gallons or so under very hard braking I can hear the pump cavitate. It doesn't effect how the motor runs or make it dies or bog at all, I can just hear the pump. I moved the foam around to try and help and will see how that does. If I can't control it with the foam, I plan to have someone weld in a one way baffle box around the inner sump to help with that.
As for safety, I still need to build a firewall between the seats for race day, weld in a box underneath to cover the exposed area of the sump, and replace the rear inner aluminum bumper with round metal tubing for protection.
