So i figured I'd update this for you guys and give a review on the products in the car. Everything is the car is working flawlessly. No issues to report to date. I have actually lost track of how many miles we've put on the car since the fuel cell install. Was completed in Oct 14'. So 8 months of driving. We are at 147,000 now. I'm guessing 9-12,000 miles.

Car is basically driven daily unless something breaks and I have to fix it. Since install I haven't had to touch anything on the system. Get in it and drives just like normal. My own made fuel pump re-wire is holding and no signs of burning out. No leaks to report. Pump kicks on every single time you hit the key. I'm SSOOO happy at how the whole system as been performing.

We have taken the car on a couple trips to check its reliability and fuel range and mpg's. Couple trips to Sierra Vista, Phoenix and have used it to do local paper deliveries for some extra cash. Not one problem. Tune still isn't dialed in. My fault. Just haven't bugged him. But low to mid 30's timing at cruise. 14.7 afr cruise doing 75-80 mph it gets 18-19.8 mpg's and a range of roughly 340-350 miles all on E85. We can fill it with roughly 18.5-19 gallons because of how I have it angled back for the sump. I fill up at 330 just because. I'm hoping once we dial the tune in more we can expect maybe 23-25 mpg's. If that is possible, we can have a range of roughly 425-450.

A little story time. Back in April we went to a local race wars event in Gila Bend/Phoenix. 475 ish mile round trip. Once getting to the event, there was a super long line to get in. Basically 8,000 people showed up to a 2,500 capacity event. Lots of traffic on the interstate and idling in the heat for roughly 4-5 hrs straight with the a/c on. Not one hiccup. Car never shut off, stumbled, hard idle, hunt. Ran like a champ. Never got in sadly, but took a trip around Phoenix for fun and a local car show.

We just got back from a recent trip to Carlsbad, CA for a free trip the wife won and to visit friends up there. That was an awesome trip. 1000 plus miles round trip. 6-7 hrs one way of straight driving. Not a single issue again. Filled up here, then 170 miles out of town. From there made it to Cali on that tank with more fuel to ride around in. It's so nice to not have to worry about constant fill ups and the need to carry extra fuel around. I took extra tools with me on the trip because I did a stg kit install for our friend their and just in case any problems came up. Glad to say I didn't need them for us, except to re tighten our exhaust the came loose and melted the bumper a little haha. Still had lots of trunk space to after, bags, tools, jack, cleaning stuff, air pump, road side kit.

All in all glad to say I'm happy with the choices I made for building this fuel system. Buying quality parts have paid off here for us and we have a fuel system that is more reliable then stock and far out performs it and will supply fuel for all this car will ever need with just a simple injector upgrade down the road when it's called for. I have yet to still install the straps. I know, I know, I've been so lazy and need to make it a priority. I also haven't installed the 1k's I got either. To call it all done, the straps, 1k's and firewall are all that's left besides dial the tune in.

For reference our old set up was:
TVS, 2.9, 80's, Dw300 stock system, 7500 rev limit, 12.1-12.5 afr. 105-108% idc at redline.

Now it's on:
TVS, 2.6, 80's, Fuel cell, boost ref, return style, Magnafuel pump, 8000 rev limit, 9.9-10.5 afr. 95-98% idc at redline. And it feels stronger up top then before when it was leaned out. To rich now after valve spring install.

Magnafuel, Russel, Fuel lab, Summit FTW!!

Thanks man!!! I wanted to make it where there was no worry or maintenance to the system and it would be reliable to take out of town if we felt like it. A lot of people were worried about using this pump for daily use and long extended run time or trips. Thinking it may heat up and vapor lock. After reading some reviews of guys using it daily on LS builds, I'm glad to report and back up they were right.

What I do love about this pump is if anything ever did happen, it's 100% rebuild-able to new for less then $100. I hope I'll continue to get lots more miles of worry free operation.

That was never the problem to begin with. It was the size of the wire and fuse holder that everyone was burning up from the standard kits you get from ZZp or OTTP.

3 locals plus myself all had one of those kits burn up at the fuse holder, then melt the rest of the kit because the fuse did not separate the circuit.
