well after i got tuned and i was on the highway i reset it and tested it out.....and one time in the city at about 4 in the moring i drove across town...35 min drive and i averaged 50-55....i was really trying though...i wouldnt ever go over 2600 rpm and would cruise at about 2000...it was insane...i might have a conservative tune

So is everyone that has a stage 2 running on premium gas?

And I am pretty sure that reseting your MPG on the highway while you are driving is not the most accurate why to find out what you are getting. People have gone through all of this before in other threads. I've have reset it plenty of times and it would read out 35.5 mpg on the highway and that is on a stock cobalt ss/sc with CIA, but when you go and actually figure it out by crunching the numbers i got at best 28 mpg, and i think that many of you will find it being the same. That is unless you are actually doing some math and figuring it out, then i stand corrected.

Post and let me know what you guys are doing, i am curious to see!

Yeah...I don't know how to drive under 3k in all gears...that's kind of insane but it's all hills here.

On the highway I can do 30ish at 10-15 over (so say 75)...in the city plunges to 20-22 if I womp on it moderately. But that's stage 2 + 2.9; so maybe I should grab those 60s and head out.

I get around 21-24 in the city and about 25-27 on the highway. I bought the S/C and stage 2 for a reason. Not very fun to shift at 2500. Why do you'll buy all the mods and never get on it?

Mods in sig, I average at the end of the week 28.x. I reset my DIC once I fill up for the new work week once I leave my Apt complex and get on the main road. And thats on a 75/50 hwy/city driving. 45 miles round trip each day.

Where in Pa are you, I am located out near Pottstown.

Anyway, I have had to slow down a lot because of my driving record. I have been ticket free for a little over a year....lol So I like my new driving habits

When you guys say tune you are refering to a custom tune from shop or just the stage kits from gm/dealerships? And if its a custom tune then what do you use for that. I have been out of the forum loop for a long time so go easy on me.

and if any one is located in KC Missouri let me know where the local shops are for tuning. I would also like to see some of this stuff in person so if somebody wouldnt mind meetin up that would be awesome. It would be easier to let my money go if i could see this stuff in person.
