The SS/SC has a boost bypass. When you are not in boost the intake air completely bypasses the SC and aftercooler.

I just filled up yesterday, I do 75% highway and 25% city driving, I got 28.9 MPG and that is "spirited" driving. If I really granny the car I have pulled 32 MPG, and that is still only 75% highway.

I have a 2.2L and I only get 22 or 23 in the city. Always have.

The car isnt running great. Sometimes when im stopped there is this horrible noise. Ratteling sound. Im not even sure what it is. When it turns off it sounds weird too. Backfires like crazy as well.
