Wow this is all extremely interesting. It is honestly going to boil down to a few things for me here. I can get a pretty significant discount on the GM stage kits. I can basically get them at cost. However I realize that your stuff will make a considerable amount of more power. But them GM kits come backed by a warrenty. What kind of guarantees will you be offering? I'd be very dissappointed say 20,000 miles after installation of a Stage 3 kit my car goes boom. Price, dyno results, and ease of installation will be the deciding factors for me.

I can almost say for sure that there will not be any warranty with your motor through gm or revitup IF something goes wrong. That's what comes with modding your car.

Tom

i would be more dissapointed when i put on the stage 2 kit and burn up a second clutch, blow my engine and gm said it was becuase of abuse after 20,000 miles. i can't even get those dipshits here to replace my passenger's side armrest handle.. what do you think will happen when the engine or tranny blows?

i say if i can have a car with 50% more power than i rolled it off the car lot with without rebuilding the engine, last me the way i drive for 20,000 miles... i will be happier than **** lol from the beginning i said i would have to rebuild my engine 4-5 times before i gave up on the cobalt....

Dealerships in the SW suburbs seem to not care as much about any mods like Ohio or California. I have never had any problems with warranty work around here on any of the cars I have had. When installing something that taps into your PCM just hide it as best as you can. If you look at the harnesses on the PCM you can see they are taped with standard black electrical tape. Tap into these wires as far away from the PCM as you can and tape it back up. I really can't see a mechanic being suspicious and untaping the stock looking wires to inspect them. If these kits are as good as they say they are and the LSJ is on the top ten best engine list I don't think we have too much to be concerned about.

Honestly everybody worrying about warranty issues needs to take a breath, step back and really analyze there situation. If you are worried about voiding your warranties so badly then maybe you should look into a civic, they are very reliable cars. If your fine with just a few upgrades then get an intake and exhaust and call it good. For everyone else who wants to go fast be prepared to void your warranty and be prepared to break ****. It is part of owning performance vehicles. I really dont get alot of peoples " I will just wait until my warranty is up" attitudes. If it breaks outside of warranty due to mods is it really going to be that much different than if it breaks now?

Agreed....

I will also add that if you are concerned so much about your warranty. You should just not even bother considering the options being presented in this thread. If you want to go fast and are willing to pay the price (Yes there is ALWAYS a price)... then you should be excited.

Tiny or Ray: You may have said it before but what are your prices on installs for someone who buy Stage 1 or 2? and for someone who wants to this themselves, on a difficulty level of 1-10.. 1 being easy and 10 being hard how would you rate the install for someone who has average experience with working on cars?

Rev It Up is the release of the Stage 4 kit set in stone (for this summer)? If so, I may just wait for the Stage 4 kit instead of buying each stage...Which I think would be a better idea...

They can raise the redline with Stage 2 but I don't know if they will be.

For the people that want to get one of your kits like stage 4 later down the road and get the gm s2 first, will we have to take out gm s2 and get s1-4 or can we just go stright to s4?

From what i can tell you need stage two for stage 4 to work, so i guess you need stage 1,2,4 for it to work. He said earlier that you only need stage two to get stage 4 so maybe its a different piggyback.
