I just received another message about the kits:

Subject : 2007 Cobalt SS Supercharger Stage 2 Kit

The Cobalt Performance Accessories Stage 2 Kit (P/N 17803229) has NOT been released for and should NOT be installed on 2007 Cobalt SS Models at this time. The calibration for that vehicle application is currently under development and is expected to be released by the 4th Quarter of 2006.

This kit is currently released for 2005-06 Cobalt SS Models equiped with the 2.0: Supercharged engine (RPO LSJ).


This is good news for me cuz I'm supposed to receive my 07 black SS/SC sometime in early Oct. WOOHOO.

Hmm, wonder why that is different?? Are they changing something internal for the 07 models??

 

Yea, the programming of the PCM is all different from the 06's and the 07's. I remember reading someone elses post about all the differences in them.
I just hope that they will take my code that I already have on my stage 2 kit that I bought a couple of days ago and let me use the new programming when I get my car.

It might be a while. Wife's making me keep that one and trading off her old Olds for the new one coming in. All the interior is the stock interior that comes in the SS/SC yellows. I got it at a good price since I work in the Parts dept
