do the gm performance headers make much of a difference at all?

 

you can get much better headers for similiar prices as those overpriced GM products. look @ OTTP, cobalt addiction.com, ZZP. do some research

 

that never answered my questionb though lol u can get em through the dealefr for 250.00 my price so im not to worryed

 

dont get it...there are much better headers out there.....The gm performance manifolds are junk....

yes they do...i have the vibrant setup and it made a huge difference, especially where i dropped pulley sizes

 

im all srock vesides a cai and a muffler im not buying a stage kit anytime soon so should i even nother with headers

 

yes they do but I dont have numbers to prove it. They will flow better and usually ur powerband moves up a little.

 

i would still go with a header/ dp....You will still notice some gains. You will have it for when you do get staged

 

go with other headers instead of gm ones

 

gmpp header it is the stock one ported
any other header will be a better choice

 

I have been running the GM header for two years now and yes it makes a difference but if I could do it over I would have saved my money and bought a real header. You will get bigger gains with one from like CTI or someone else so to answer your question yes it does preform better than the stock one.

maybe 5 to 10 hp not near what you would with a real header

 

no dont waste your time with them
