then he must get paid hourly and not care. when on flat rate, warranty work only pays you roughly half of what normal work would give you

Yeah they only get paid when they are doing work and they were slow at the time.

well then if u want to keep ur warranty u can only go with GM Stage 2 cuz stage 3 is for off-road use only and will void ur warranty. just go stage 2, h/e, and dual pass and ur car will be good for awhile prolly around 240whp like me

Im Gm Stage 3, 2.9 pulley,KN Typhoon Intake and soon to be GMPP Manifold and Touring Exhaust

P.S. i still have a warranty for my car even though i have stage 3...Had the guy put down in writing that it wouldnt void my warranty.. He said that it wouldnt hurt my car and any GM stage kit was covered under warranty no questions asked...Really its all in what the dealership cares what u do to your car...

I am an actual GM Stage 3 user. I installed my GM Stage 3 and DynoTune N2O 50 dry in September of '07 when I had 34,000 miles on my Cobalt, I now have 54,506 miles on my ride. See my install posts at these links:

I can recommend GM Stage 3 because of actual experience over the last 15 months of mostly daily use accumulating just over 20,000 miles with GM Stage 3 and N2O. I have my own Nitrous Refill Pump and purchase N2O in bulk cylinders. I have sprayed 140 Lbs of N2O since my install.

I do not have anything negative to say about any specific aftermarket tunes or tuners as I have not used any of these vendors. I do however have some experience in this area as I am a retired ASE Master Technician and use EFI Live to tune my supercharged Silverado SS (13.3 @ 99.7 with a 1.8 60' in a 6000 LB AWD truck). I went with GM Stage 3 because I felt I would have a very quick Cobalt with a product that GM offered. I have not been disappointed in my choice.

I have over 20,000 miles of trouble free driving on GM Stage 3 with N2O. This car is very quick and a blast to drive. I love this car!

No I haven't taken my Cobalt SS/SC to the track yet mainly due to the lack of traction mods that you point out. I am getting closer to doing that. I have some traction bars purchased that I will install after the holidays. I have two Hoosier 22555R16 Drag Radials mounted and balanced on extra wheels. I plan to hit the strip in Jan or Feb and will post my numbers. I do have an Ingalls TD installed but just failed to put it in my sig.

No clutch issues with 54,000 miles of which the last 20,000 were Stage 3 w/N2O. However, there have been no hard launches due to the above mentioned lack of traction mods.

Ya think the fact that it has a tune for nitrous might have something to do with that? lol
