GMPP cat back question

I'm a noob around here and this question has probably already been asked,so please bear with me.I'm thinking about putting a cat-back exhaust on my cobalt, but I have a extended warranty and don't want to void anything.I've been hearing that the GMPP exhaust won't void anything and is actually covered by the factory warranty if it's installed by a dealership,is this true. Also, what does the GMPP exhaust sound like and how much difference is there between the tuned and performance versions.I'm looking for something that's somewhat louder than stock, but sounds good and smooth and won't be mistaken for a fart cannon.Thanks.

Another 'stang convertor huh? j/k I've heard the GMPP and its a bit louder than stock and has a good rich tone. Not tinny at all. I went with Magnaflow which i like more, a bit louder and more flow.

The GM exhaust sounds great. Here is a link that will answer any and all exhaust questions. Check out all the sound clips.
