H/E help?

So is the H/E things that look like air to air intercoolers take the spot of our stock air to water intercooler? Do these have the same function or are they completely different?

I have searched i cant find the answers i need.

well what most do is run the aftermarket HE's in-line with the stock HE. they do the same thing our stock ones do, they just add more fluid to the system and allow a bigger area for air to cool off the liquid

a HE is like a radiator, and all these aftermarket ones are just bigger ones. You can replace the stock one with a bigger one, or just use them both, wich is the more common route.

I don t think you can use a air to air intercooler unless your using a turbo...

You may be able to add one inline (1 air to air and 1 air to water) but you cannot replace your stock one with an air to air.

We offer the cx racing h/e and made a kit for it, for a very afforadable price. This has shown very good drops in iat2's of about 15~20*

let me know if we can help you out.

Works both ways actually.

More fluid = longer to circulate and cool down which in turn can be overworking the pump.

I wish I knew my temps at the end of 3rd gear. I would do 40-115 and usually let off right when I get it into 4th.

Ouch. I had none either. 2.8" on 42's and literally no fuel after 6500.
