Check out pics of time attacks engine bay. I don't think the reflective film looks all that bad.

I'm usually 10F above ambient.

I had a friend with a Honda that decided to header wrap his intake and it actually raised his iats by like 30 degrees if I remember correctly. Header wrap is ment to hold heat in, so my guess is that the intake wasn't able to disapate any heat because the header wrap was holding it in.

My budy actually switched to a reflective type tape and that ended up lowering his iats instead of raising them when he used the header wrap

What are you iat1's? Remember every 10*F there's about a 1hp change. So if your iat1's are only 10*F above ambient then at most you'll gain 1hp.

This might be worth while to test on a bigger scale, I say wrap the coolant tank,lines and intake pipe and opt B tank with the gold and see what ia2's are like

heres a test vid of the gold there was a 110* difference vs shielded/unshielded
