No problem. It helped me out with the same issue, so I figured I'd pass it along.

# 1 and 4 will be both up at the same time but will be on different storkes. Just make sure when #4 is up, it's on the compression stroke.

thank god for area 51 and 2k5 cause it had to be on piston 4's compression stroke at tdc and the hex line needed to match up with the outside line im 100% sure that my car is A ok now no more codes or anything

Your welcome! The same thing was happening to me when I did my headgasket and headstuds after it blew. All my buddies were laughing at me thinking I screwed something up big time since it took a ton of turn to get it started! WopOnTour provided me with that diagram and it worked like a champ!

Raven, do it the right way you lazy bastard!

I know you would. How is the car running otherwise? Must be nice to drive it around again. I only got to drive mine for about a week after it was down for 4 months, and then I deployed.

We need to thank you for pushing the envelope to show what the stock engine is truely capable of. I'm sure you will be receiving phone calls when I get back with a lot of bottom end engine build questions since a series of events have changed plans for when I get back. I might have to press on squeezing all I can out of the twinscrew instead of going the turbo route. We'll see.

damn no turbo? what happened there? and if you're talking about the lysholm blower, we shall see what that can make. do remember though I run my car on the ragged edge of blowing up all day everyday lol. Just make sure you have your laptop on you at all times..... it will save your ass

Well, I haven't really got into details or really discussed it with said individual yet, but they have recently lost their job and I'm not sure if they will be able to afford the regular bills much less a twinscrew supercharger. Yep, I'm talking about the lysholm blower/kit I still own and am patiently awaiting its return. Hell, it'll give me the motivation to finish what I started long ago anyhow. There might even be a few surprises for everyone in the end. I can't deny that it did mean business even though nobody really believed me. Especially knowing what I know now about tuning and getting my car to run tip top, I'd be willing to bet I can crank out some decent power with it. Then if I get bored, I can sell it to someone else and start fabbing my turbo kit.
