HELP clutch will not engage!!!!

my clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor with absolutly no pressure and will not go into any gear. i have to shut the car off put it in 1st the start it and it takes off. but the clutch will not dissengage at allllllll. my fluid was also very low. im thinking master cylinder.. but right before this happened the clutch pedal for about 5 months would get really stiff and kinda vibrate when i push it down. had plenty of pressure... but today it went out completly. any ideas?? Cracked trans housing? mastercylinder? linkage?? slave cylinder?? is there a tsb or anything on this?? thanks for anyone who reply and can help. much appreciated!
