i have the ttr upper motor mount, and ttr poly trans inserts and have ZERO wheel hop. why spend more when you can get the same result for less? not saying anyone elses products are bad because they do the job too but ive had mine for four years now and could launch it at redline all day every day with no wheel hop

As long as you have a bench vise or a press (or a freind has one of the two) it is very simple. Press out the old, and press in the new.

I just recently installed my front and rear trans mounts from ZZP. It took about 35 minutes a piece.

Was starting to get a little wheelhop at at track on the stock mounts so i got a black friday sale for 160 shipped from zzp.

Amazing difference on the street though with minimal vibration.

Gonna slap some drag radials or slicks on it next season and get into the 12's

I stabbed mine out with a screw driver, and played my insert over the mount and stepped on it. Went in no problem

now being that inserts are not aftermarket mounts, will this work the same with a aftermarket downpipe so the flex won't break, or do i need a TTR or ZZP tranny mount or Engine mount

i played with all the options... tried the torque dampener, that thing was whack... didn't work 70% of the time depending on the road surface, and it looked kinda doofy in the engine compartment too. then got the upper mount from ttr, it got the job done 90% but i still had some hop so i then made my own tranny inserts. got some poly, baked my mounts, slapped em in, WOAH. no wheel hop, but too much vibes...

took the tranny mounts i made out, threw in the poly inserts from ttr (at this point i have ttr upper, nd ttr tranny mounts if u got lost lol) THEN i even went as far to take my tranny mount that is under the fuse box out, filled that with quiksteel and replacec. i had no wheel hop! vibes were terrible, but no wheel hop... after a year i was miserable and couldn't take my car being a rattling shitbox. i even bought a torque wrench to tighten down everything perfectly and in the right order, JUST so I'd know I did the install perfectly and that it was my setup. next...

i now have stock upper mount, and rotated stg 2 mounts from OTTP. next to no vibes, and no wheel hop 95% of the time, regardless of road surface. I can combo this setup with the solid mount i still have, but i haven't because i like having next to no vibes or rattles. the vibes r fine but man do the rattles SUCK!

try the poly trans inserts, they're only what $50 + shipping? if they get the job done and the rattles/vibes r in check, ur done. if not then go for the rotated mounts they are a dream.

Dezzie ill help you out on this one. Do you plan on tracking your car? If not, just buy the ingalls TD. If you are planning on tracking the car, get the TD with stage 2 transmission mounts. You will get some vibs but its the best way to go.
