Help electrical problem!

ok so i was drivin last night in the rain. i did a second gear pull from like 55. al of a sudden i lose the lighting in my boost guage and speedo and tach all that jazz and my tail lights. i pulled over checked fuse block in the car and didnt find anything that could be related to the blow as far as fuses. then this morning i checked both boxes. in the engine bay fuse block only one fuse one blown. the PRK LMPS fuse (15A) swapped it out with another and i blew instantly . so just to see what happened i put a 25A in and walked back to the tail lights and they were like fading in and out like bright to dim bright to dim so on and so fourth. so i got in the car and looked at the cluster and boost guage. still no lights in there even though i couldn find a fuse in either block to fix that problem someone gots ideas????

The damage you might of done by putting in the larger fuse could of been real bad.

I hope you didnt smell any thing burning, like wire insulation!!!!!!!

The problem is in the rear lights.
The power that feeds the rear lights(15amp Prk fuse you replaced) also feeds the instrument panel lights through the bcm so you know that you dont have rear lights when the dash ones go out.

There is a short somewhere in the circut.

Could be a bcm problem.

How olds the car ,there was a issue behind the sub with a screw penetrating the wires behind it.

Anyway,Check the wiring from each tail light and follow it back as far as you can in the trunk.

let me know what you find and we can go from there.

I agree if a fuse blows. Never try a bigger fuse. Because that will lead to more damage and or a fire.
