help! what does the codes mean?

P0223 and P0123 codes.

what does these two codes mean? friends car is in engine power reduced because of it.

A P0123 code means that the the car's computer has detected that the TPS (throttle position sensor) is reporting too high a voltage.

P0223....Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'B' Circuit High Input

fuses are fine. car regardless will not remove codes via hpt, removed battery, waited 15 mins won't clear. looks like its going to need to be towed.

with the car right now..
