yeah thats what i thought. but the good thing about that filler neck is i can see the fluid go through when the pump is actually working. we hit it witha hammer and it came on. lol.

i ordered the bosch intercooler pump so i should get that tuesday. should be an easy install. foes anyone had any bad or good experiences with the bosch pump?

Depends on your mods. If you are dual pass or bigger/second HE then that is pretty high. When driving on a 60F day my IAT2 would usually be at ~80F, that is with dual pass and opt b w/2.9 pulley.

I've heard as a rule of thumb, 20 degrees over ambient temp is a typical IAT2. Even for stock. But after a WOT pull tho... not too sure.

Found this too...

On a different note... has anyone changed the coolant to more water than dexcool? Right now I'm running 50/50, the temps are fine, just wondering if I'd benifit from something like 75% water, 25% dexcool?

Yes you will. I run water and a bottle of chill charger.

Water is actually the coolant, so running a higher part water will cool temps more. The dexcool is a lubricant and raises the boiling boint as well as lowering the freezing point. The IC system shouldn't get hot enough to boil, so that isn't an issue. You don't need much lubrication in the IC system either. The only thing you have to watch out for is freezing.
