higher iat2 numbers after h/e install
^the reason u see no coolant in the neck is because its not full, air gets trap in the system and takes a while to work its selfout, if u have the stock H/E and no opt b then ur stuck filler the neck up everyday till the coolant is full and all the air is out and this can take weeks lol, this is why the opt b was made, i however have zzp stealth H/E and I made the mistake of not topping it off after air had made its way yo the top of the system so when I checked mine 2 days ago I was able to add a fair amount of coolant, im drive it around for more days let anymore air bleed to the top and fill it again then get new results to post for my h/e since the last ones i posted was not on a fully bleed system. My advice to u is get an opt b and follow the instructions, i messed up first time i installed one and it didnt work correctly but when i installed it for my friend i did it right that time and it works great for his setup.
Correct! As air works it way out of the cores and the rest of the system it moves to the top of the heat exchanger so just drive around for a few days and pop the radiator cap to see if there is room for more coolant, do this for a few days and urs should bleed fully. Zzp should have explained this better because i miss understood how it work the first time aroud and assumed that it was bled but it was not. Its easy to bleed tho.
Oh ok I get what your saying now, yeah when the cars turned on theirs no visible fluid so i'm going to put some more in tomorrow! Question.. after i drained this system doing the h/e install, i used just plain dexacool (not the 50/50) and mixed royal purple ice in it. Could i pour some 50/50 in the system? Just don't want to cause any problems.. i have an extra bottle of the 50/50
I have no clue what royal purple ice is but i would just add water for the rest of it. Also simply turning on the car wont really move the air to the top u need to drive it around and put a lil load on the engine. I turned on the engine on jackstands first time and just added coolant until it stop going down and thats why i thought it was filled but turns out had alot of air still even with the pump running.
The coolant system has pressure on it after you drive around so it may have to sit a few hours before ucan add any water, what i do is drive to work then back home the next day when i wake up i check it withthe system cold.

I know it's been said but....
Opt. B will solve all these manual bleeding problems you people are having.
I don't know why people over look this cheap, effective mod.
Plus it provides a constant bleed of the cooling system.

We dont have an opt b port so buying one wont solve anything for the stealth h/e

ZZP said they will include an Opt. B port if requested, and this should be requested for any future potential buyers.
For people that already have a Stealth w/o an Opt. B port, this advice is of no use, and will just need to wait until the system fully "burps" its self. It's a pain, and I don't miss it at all.
Everyone believed it would bleed its self, and Opt. B was not needed. I knew from the start that was false. It's a decent heat exchanger, but would be even better with the bleedline.

Since u have the stock H/E then yes u will have to keep topping off the filler neck(reservoir) beside the supercharger until it its fully bleed, this could take a month or longer depending on how religiously u do this everyday and how much u drive during a day. Honestly since u have the choice of opt b I strongly recommend it since it really is a pain in the ass for the stock h/e.

It can be done without it, just consider it like ur on foot running from the cops and u know if u get caught, big bubba gonna rape dat ass! Then u realize that u have on ankle weights. So ur options are buy opt b and free urself of the burden or get ready for that **** rape that is called bleeding the stock heat exchanger.

I don't want to think of what I spent on my car over the years to get it where it is now.
