You can buy a used tank, the lines are cheap, and you can make your own brackets (not hard... bend a piece of sheet metal and drill (2) holes).
Yeah, if you want to buy it from ZZP.
Even so, that is not much money either. This is a very over looked cooling mod which is def important.
Like I said, you may burp the system and get the coolant level to settle, but there will still be some trapped air.
Infact, this was my first cooling mod.

I have to agree with everyone on here about about option B. It works GREAT and I didn't even want to bother without it.
Got mine off someone on here for about $50.
And I recommend having a spare pump available. They can be had for under $90 and without a working pump in the summer your car will feel like a BIG wet sponge

When your IAT's go through the roof your car performance will SUCK. Pump is an easy swap. Here in Canada you can't just get a pump in a day unless you want to pay way too many $$ so I prefer to have a spare for my DD.
"It feels like a wet sponge." Try throwing a big dry sponge.....it moves from your hand as soon as you release it. A wet sponge will sag and not want to move. "Moves like a wet sponge"
Ever drive a car with bad plugs. Feels sluggish right? You put in new plugs and you have snappy acceleration? Well when your IAT's go up think sluggish. All the performance mods you have made start to go out the window.
I know I had IAT's 180 to 200 last year when my pump when on a 2.9 pulley.
The car feels worse than stock.
That is why I am adding a dual pass and phenolic space BEFORE this summer.

In simple terms, every bit of air in the system can rob you of cooling efficiency.
As it has been explained in all the posts I have read. Air in the system means you will run hotter and cooling will take longer.
If you get yourself an AeroForce interceptoryou can watch how well your colling system is working by watching IAT1 to IAT2.
If you don't have one of these I highly recommend it as your next investment.
Will tell you plenty about what your car is or isn't doing
Should be #1 mod if you plan on doing ANY performance mods in my opinion.

There are plenty of good teachers on this forum and if you read a lot and research things you can avoid wasting money.
I probably read for 3 months before I make any step on a modification. I read all the arguments for and against too.
So far i have not been steered wrong by the folks here.
READ- Thanks to everyone who supplies input on the forum.

basicly u need to weld on a neck that fits the opt b kit, i would email zzp aand ask them to sell u one or maybe someone here not what size it is can tell u.
just make sure when u get it u enable the annunicator and put it to pick up knock retard 3, set the sensitive to something like 1.0 knock because u will get false knock from time to time when u hit bumps or shift gears, the knock ur worried about is when ur racing someone and ur getting knock. Read the instructions and google any question u have but if u get confused just ask and ill try to explain it if i can.
