yeah i got the same problem its the intermediate shaft i believe, not sure how much it cost to fix but i would luv to findout.

kk thanks i rather do it myself seeing as im a mechanic lol but for diseal trucks and dont wanna pay the dealer 3 hours labour to do it at 100.00

c i had my front end looked at they could not find nothing wrong and think it is the coulum how cna i tell before i splend the money

It is indeed your column. Mine ratelled like crazy also, but i complained to the dealer a few times. And they put a new UPDATED column in my car under warrenty. There is a TSB out on the steering column rattle. So the dealer replaced it for me almost 2 years ago. Its never made a single noise sense.
