Well I ordered the car about 4 to 5 weeks ago. I called the dealer today and they said the factory will be making the car on april 10th. How long did you guys have to wait, I'm getting a little anxious, and want to start putting some money into it.

 

If it's being built on April 10th...probably about 1-2 weeks for delivery since you live in Ohio where they are built.

 

Tell them to slap on the stage 2 upgrade at the factory lol

well.. i didnt have to wait. went to the dealer after my car had some probs and there was a cobalt ss/ss sitting on the floor. bought it the next day.

.... that has to be rough to wait that long. sorry i cant give you and info on how long it takes

 

Try being stationed overseas and having to wait over a year. I had to pre-order my 06 and it's still not gonna be bulit till 5 May then it gets delivered 15 June then I can finally drive it when I get stateside 1 july. Now that's waiting.... I've been watching everyone upgrade there Cobalts and this and that.....I my friend am anxious..but I have ordered parts for it already....

 

I ordered mine 3rd week of September. 1st week of January, GM called my dealer telling them that my order had been preferenced. The car was supposed to be here in March. It showed up in mid-February.

So, at least for me, it was kind of a long wait.

 

I ordered 3rd week of Jan and I sat in it on March 29th. So about 9 weeks.

Good to know. Another guy ordered an SS/SC from my dealer, and I think it has been preferenced. GM really needs to sell cars now after not making any money the last few years. 0% financing and employee pricing has allowed them to make $00.00!!!!
