Question ic pump

where and how can i tell if my ic pump is working im putting my stage 3 heat exchanger in tomoro and wanna find out if the pump is still good is there a how to or what not

Open the cap that is attatched to your supercharger by a bracket near the front right. It's the HE/IC fill cap. Check for fluid movement or stick something in there to feel it like a screw driver. You should be able to see it moving though.

If that doesn't work go under the car and feel the pump. Or even in a quiet place just turn the key to the ignition and listen under the engine. Also check that it's wired properly because apparantly they can be wired incorrectly from the factory.

Do these cars pull timing when your pump is inactive?

Ive noticed mine pulling timeing more often then normal now that my pump is bad, but it's still rare. Only when I REALLY get on it, itll pull 7 degrees of timing, then drop down to 4 till I let off.. SOMETIMES when I shift itll pull 1 degree of timing.
