Go over to an Ace Hardware or to a Hobby Shop, and just get some electric motor brushes for a few dollars, and replace the brushes in it.. there is a How-To on this...worse come to worse, if it doesn't work for you, you wasted a few dollars and tried learning something new.. I did it to mine, works flawless, took maybe like an hour from start to finish after getting the parts..

 

i heard back from the cx racing people and this was there response> website states no warranty. sold out of item no complaints. hmmm very short and not really what i was looking for i mean they answered one question about warranty but nothing about longevity or quality of this product
