Angry Idle issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been going on for awhile now.. starting to annoy me to the point where I don't wanna drive it. Bounces from a stop 500-1200 and some times stalls out and starts right back up even more so with the ac or heater on..
I've cleaned the tb out also the MAF and it's still doing it. At idle I sit at between -9 -11 and it jumps, depending on the day.. I don't know if that has anything to do with or if it helps to know. only thing I have on the car is a K&N and a 2.5" dp from zzp and a 2.5" exhaust from zzp also. I have looked all over the forum and can not find anything else I can do to try to fix this problem.

Bad MAF. I had an 06 and fucked it up with an AEM Dryflow with no hydroshield.
I am too lazy to type all the **** I did to seal up that fender well, but if you're really interested let me know.
Are you sure that doesnt have an AEM filter on it? They get moist and hold water like a bish.. cause S/Cs to bog out and flutter the trottle up and down like you said.

If you dont want it to come back until you fix it, shift under 3K :O

They are the same MAFs that are in the c06 vette.. and they are expensive, at the time it was over 2 bills canadian.

few months ago I cleaned the filter and the maf but its gotten to the point where I can't take. I just got around to clean the tb. I got the car with the intake on it when I pulled it off it had a hydroshield on it.
Oh and the lights get dim in and out when it does it. Not sure if everyone does that i havent seen anything on it,

i have the same exact issue, i have an injen CAI WITH the hydoshield. When it rains im assuming moisture is getting on the MAF and the car idles like a clown. If my heat is on and the revs drop too much I can hear the heat stop blowing out. I also get a p0103 code on my interceptor but my CEL dosent come on.
I just let it dry out and turn the code off and it works itself out, I had my MAF replaced last year cuz my car wouldnt even start.

If you have dried and cleaned everything, added a hydro shield and you are still doing this, then the maf is toast. I took one out once and cleaned it really well with iso alcohol etc and that saved it. Look on the inside of the CAI for signs of water leakage too... they will be little snaky looking trails up the inside of the MAF inlet. I have seen that LOTSSS on that intake. You can take a balloon and a nice high quality zip tie and put a rubber over the MAF too... I did.... What a pita this problem is on the SC. Not sure if the ECU or anything gets out of whack too. Here's another hint, shift under 3K RPM and it should never happen.

You may want to check your plugs now too..

I have the same issue as him, except mine idled inconsistently from the moment I finished installing the zzp stage 3 kit. I was looking at the ZZP fuel pressure regulator. Ive also cleaned everything there is to clean.

Log and see what is going on, if it flutters up and down you may want to find another local balt guy with the same maf and see if you can convince him to lend you it for a quick test. Its basic to swap.

check for vac leaks get some carb/ throttle body cleaner. When the car begins to idle funny start spraying everything on the intake side. Do it slowly listen for the idle to level out. dont forget to check around the injector, throttle body supercharger gasket. make sure theres no holes in the cold air. If you cant find anything then its a good chance its the Maf or the Map. Map is located to the top left of the supercharger. Its black and a rectangle.

Last thing you can check that normally no one thinks about it the bypass actuator on the supercharger. If that is fully closed when its supposed to be itll throw off all the readings. Dont ever adjust this unless its needed. Best way to adjust this is take the supercharger off and look at the flap when adjusting to make sure its completely flat when closed. stupid i sdjusted it and it took me a couple month to figure out that improper positioning of that will cause engine power reduction. lol

Im having this issue right now! Whats your opinion?

My car had a bouncing idle for the past couple of days. The first two days it went away after driven a few miles. Today it did the same for most of the day. On my way home from work, I noticed a little bit of like a buck where the engine lost power for a quick second. Than driving after getting home it would completely stop until i shifted gears, until it completely died. Where it would barely move and the engine would not stop bouncing. Got it around the corner to a buddys, cleaned out the throttle body like most people are saying, no go. Took off my aftermarket Injen intake to check the maf, which had spots of water residue on it, i assumed from the humidity or something? And a little bit of what looked like rust on the inside of the maf. Started the car with the maf plugged in, bounced idle. But when I unplugged it, she idled fine. I tried to drive my car home with the maf unplugged but could barely make it down the street.

Just want a second opinion before I go buy a new mass airflow in the morning.

I have a very similar issue with mine, however it will not stall if I turn my blower motor off/ or below the "2" setting. Also it does not do it if my car's coolant temp is above 160 usually. Above 160 and the blower on full and it will not do it. Anything below that temperature though, with the blower motor cranked and the car will nearly/ probably stall. My only mod to the car is a K&N drop in. 06 SS/SC 2.0.
