Idle Problem? No Major Mods..

My car has been acting like a piece of **** lately... come to expect horrible things from it..

But today I'm driving down the street and I will press in the clutch and the engine drops right off to about 200rpm yes 200 rpm and almost stalls then almost right away goes way up to about 900 rpm.. It never did this before, when it happen the electronics will flash after.

This is just the most recent thing to happen and the one that worries me the most.. also my door latches / trunk latch has failed.. I get locked in my car and have to climb out the window.. To get it the car when the latch acts up i have to hit the door under the handle.. Big ass dent in my door now.. and then the other day i attempt to open the door and the handle was frozen and then ripped right off.. Lame...

Anyways my car is a 2006 SS/SC G85.. Only mod i have is an Injen CAI.. I only run premium and car has more then routine maintenance.. Oh and I've had the intake on for about 3 months no problem..

Idle bouncing is most likely the throttle body, clean it out. It's a VERY common problem.

As for your door, that sucks. Warranty?

Your all right.. I took off my Injen intake and to my surprise, my three month old intake looked like it was used without a filter... My intake and TB are DISGUSTING.. how can it get so dirty?

Blowby from the crankcase vent (the tube going into your Injen's intake tube.

You can remedy it by using a catch can for the oil, or cleaning it every couple of months.
