Injector Differences??

So I recently bought an Intense Stage 3 PCM off someone and tried to install it in my car, to no avail. The PCM is programmed to run a 2.9 pulley, and the Lucas 42.5 injectors. I currently have the GM Stage 2 injectors in right now, and a 2.85 pulley. I did all necessary procedures to make the PCM work properly (Security Learn and CASE), but after checking the car with a Tech II, it was running WAY rich. I took it out for a spin, and it wouldnt let me get to redline without sounding like it was choking out... I've heard that Intense tunes are a little rich to be safe and make more power, but should it be that rich??

Basically, what I want to know is:

Is the difference between the Lucas 42.5 injectors and the GM Stage 2 (42's) that much that it would run that shitty? Please, someone help me out here...

Bump...

Come on guys, somebody has to have some input on this...

Area47? RavenSS? anybody??

it's probably just the fact that it's a canned tune. people try to avoid them for that reason. it's a good starting point, but it's almost never a good idea to get a canned tune and call it a day.

GM injectors are known for flowing differently than spec. someone on hear said that the 42lb GM S2's are really more like 40ish. that could matter.

They reprogrammed the pcm with the tech II and wiped out the Intense tune. You can't run another pcm in your car the vins are different. Once you switch the vin in the pcm it rewrites the whole thing.
