just purchased a set of 42's from another member on here. no harness. i am wondering if i need a harness for the 42's or if i can just use the stock harness. let me know please...

 

I'm pretty sure you need a harness, but I think the 42.5s and 60s use the same harness, I could be mistaken though.

 

hmm...yea im unsure. putting together a stage 3 kit, didnt know if i needed a harness, if i need one no bigs, where can i get it tho?

 

Depends what 42's they are.

If they are the GMPP (Siemens Deka) you can use the stock harness.

If they are the Lucas 42's you will need an aftermarket harness.

The GMPP 42s have a stainless body, and black connectors.

The Lucas 42's are completely black.

You can pick up an aftermarket harness from ZZP. They cost about $25. That is if you need one.

I run a slightly modified GMR Stage 3 tune.

 

i got my wireing harness off a 04 cavilier, they're wired for the 42's i got mine for 7.50 at a junk yard
