Injen CAI for Cobalt SS/SC ...

I've got a call at Injen right now and they told me that they are now testing a CAI for the Chevrolet Cobalt SS. The guy told me that it may be available within one month. Is it true ? I don't know, but it is true that he said this to me.

Personaly, I hope I will be able to wait, because Injen make very good intakes.

Have a nice day !

After SEMA... In about 6-8months there is going to be so many parts available for this car your heads going to spin.... By then there should be 5-7 diff intakes, 3-5 diff header,
tons of exhausts, GM Upgrades (HOPEFULLY!), etc etc etc .... Just a little more time !

Probably the highest HP gain CAI for the Cobalt SS / SC ... VERY SOON !

HI ! You guys are better to stay tuned ; I gave another call at Injen today an succesfully talk to a tech person. They will release their CAI VERY SOON for the Cobalt SS / SC. It has been tuned with their new MR technology, for a safe air / fuel ratio. Look out the numbers the tech man said they achieved, for those who know Injen I think they are very capable of these numbers, espacially for a 200+ WHP car !

-17 WHP and 16 ft-lb torque ! Those are the highest numbers available right now !

They said the intake will be released this week in a couple of days !

Stay tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnned ))

I was going to order the Fujita one today, but I will WAIT again !

Look out (as an example) their limited ediution CAI for the WRX STI !

Have a nice day !

i REALLY THINK THAT FUJITA AND INJEN HAVE THE SAME TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THEM. HOWEVER INJEN MIGHT BE LESS EXPENSIVE SO IT MIGHT BE A BETTER CHOICE 007.

Imagine what this and the TOG header could do when combined. You could be looking at 30-35 HP and 20-25 tq for about $650.

I am hoping for this product to compete in price with the K&N. Then next year, a stage 2 upgrade on top of this. We will be looking at 270 at the wheels easily.

These two products together will already have some of us pushing 250-260hp to the wheels if those are to the wheel dynos. And if GM keeps underating their HP outputs, then maybe more like 300hp (give or take an exhaust setup, roughly5-10hp)

Part number, Injen intake for Cobalt SS Supercharged.

If you go to the Injen site, there is a new menu

http://injen.com/selectproduct.cgi

There is now two Injen CAIs available for the Cobalt SS, part number SP7026P and SP7026BLK !

No HP claims yet ... Can't wait to view the dyno chart ...

Yeah, but under "DISP" it says 2.2 so do they have their info confused with the 2.2L Ecotec. It says "SS" but never metions "supercharged".

Yeah but those numbers are new; I am pretty damn sure is this the good intake. You must select SS in the pull down menu to achieve it. Just give them a call !

We talked to them today. They will be shipping them out after it is shown at the SEMA show. They are the same pricing (stated by Injen) as the injen 2.2L cobat CAI. Just a heads up for everyone.

Just be careful on the HP gains they will advertise. Until someone make an independant dyno test. After some test with my Fujita, I am suspecting those intake not to be tuned for our cars.

Also don't forget that you cannot just stack HP gains.

If a header is advertised to add 20whp and a CAI says 10whp that doesn't mean you will see a gain of 30whp.
