Injen Installation

Just got my Injen Intake today and I was looking through the installation guide and recommends removing the bumper. Did you guys remove the bumper? If I don't have to I really would like to avoid it. Any tips? Thanks alot guys! I'm so pumped for my first mod!!!!

nope its EASY to do without it. Just jack up the car, remove the front driver side tire and away you go. I also removed my headlight on the drivers side which made it a little easier to line up.

good luck

Just as big said.........remove the drivers side tire and the inner liner in the wheel well and you are good to go. And the headlight definitely helps too. Just make sure to line up the clamp on the filter so that you can unscrew it from where the headlight is so that when you want to remove the filter to clean it, all you have to do is remove the headlight and the black holder underneath it!

Check out the how-tos in the ... how-to section... As said, all you really have to remove is the inner wheel well liner... the pics are hard to follow because you don't really know what angle they're taken from but you'll figure it out. It took me forever to figure out how to put the liner back into place!

x4 haha. It's really easy to do. Only took like a half hour to do. You'll love the s/c whine afterwards too. My only advice is take your time and make sure everything is tight or you'll have . And check the how-to's. That's what I did and I didn't even need the instructions that came with it. Enjoy

Hey guys just got done putting on the intake, took me like half an hour to do. Guess I was overthinking it, the hardest part was getting the headlight back in!! The butt dyno shows a solid increase in power. 2nd gear pulls like a raped ape and the supercharger whine is addicting. I also reset my MPG monitor and got ~31MPG around town driving it easy when before I struggled to get 28MPG. Love the intake and I love my car that much more. Next project downpipe and header..... Thanks all.....

Shift 1st @ 2500
Shift to all other gears at around 2000
Downshift when you can and heat up the clutch every once in a while to prevent it from glazing and you'll be golden.

Good call man, I got mine from ebay 216 shipped and everything but Ive heard TTR is good so either way. Plans for the car for the summer are as follows. Header/ Downpipe/ Ingalls "stiffy"/ Tune.... If I can accomplish that I'd be content. I already got some good tires on there so I suppose that counts as a mod as the stock pirellis were horrible.

For $5-10 more support the vendors on this site, we are one reason why this forum is even here

Plus if something goes wrong we are here, ebay members, good luck.
