Question Installation question on Injen CAI for 2.0L

Before buying the injen CAI, i looked at the direction online, and it says PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Those who have the Injen CAI, did you install it yourself or get a technician to? Also, do you recommend buying the hydroshield for it too? Thanks a lot

No you can do it... take the drivers side wheel off, remove the fender shroud (wheel well covers) and wallah it's all open...

Should take no more than an hour or so!

Either way works. I took the wheel off and removed the fender lining as well.

I've got an 07 and I just installed it last weekend with no problems whatsoever just make sure you do put the included vinyl trim on, around the mounting hole. If you are buying it get it from TTR they have the best customer service and I got mine within a couple days. Hope this helps!

i did mine by removing wheel and only partially removing the fender well skirt. I removed all the front screws and bottom ones and then bent the skirt back behind the rotor and it stayed there and was really really alot easier to get back on after install.... great how to written up on it. dont follow instructions that come with it use the how to thats in this forum.

Yeah. I installed mine this way. Take the headlight out (2 bolts) and the little frame beneath it (another 2 bolts)
