They are very efficient so long as the liquid is cool. In an endurance race in high temps the liquid would eventually heat soak decreasing the efficiency. The FMIC will stay fairly consistant in that situation. Now if you are talking drag strip or short races that liquid to air should be great, especially with an ice box.

+1 to that.

A/A is great for long hauls under boost, ie track days, autocross to an extent.

A/W is awesome for drag racing or short burst with cool down time. And you can get better than 100% efficiency with a A/W IC, where that is very difficult with an A/A

You really shouldn't be dumping money into this.

I mean, it was ok to try it when you were using an extra one, but man.. I hate to see you drain money into something that has no returns for ya.

it'll work. it would be near impossible for it not to work the way it will be setup. i think too many people are thinking that i expect it to work all the time and by itself, which i do not... we're putting 2- 10 lb bottles of c02 with two foggers and a possible sprayer, we'll try it with 1-10lb bottle first but with two foggers we don't think it will last but a couple of sprays. or i might just go with a 20lb bottle so there will be less crap to mount

and bseides.. i got one of those cheap $75 JDM ic's lol so it's not expensive and we're building our own c02 kit, except we will be buying the rings and solenoids from nx

Don't forget, the bet was without any CO2...just a straight up intercooler on it. Still think you would have been a shitload better off adding a heat exchanger and spraying that. JMO.

5 degrees will be no problem i already got the videos of what i run stock posted up, with ait1's and 2's showing on the aeroforce.

Doesn't count. I want to see the temp right before and right after. The temp outside could have been completely different, nice try though.

yeah you can see the iat1's at 87 degrees, when i do it again it will be 87.

there's no fooling the video considering i cruised at those temps for about 10 seconds before running... why you trying to get out of it now?

next it will be " you done something to your gauge" "the humidity point was 2 degrees lower" "castro ran out of cigars" or something else

If the original plan was just to spray the intercooler with co2, why not get a kit that sprays the intake and cool temps there instead of adding the weight of the IC?

LFP doesn't have an intercooler kit, it is the heat exchanger and the cobalt-addiction intercooler that is on the cobalt is a turbo swap or twincharge setup...

LFP kit for the RL will be available next week!

yeah the meth setup is great... I can actually put my hand on the s/c after driving for a while and it doesn't even get as hot as it did stock.... plus the throttle body and intake section is cold.... no timing getting pulled and I saw at least a 40 deg drop in intake temp... and thats with the 275 jet...
