Intercooler pump install

there is a bracket holding the intercooler pump in place. Remove the top bolt and the bottom bolt and the intercooler pump will fall down. Remove the two heater hoses then replace the new ic pump and bolt it back in

be ready to fight with removing the hoses if this is the first time the pump has been changed. i think there is a little adhesive on there from the manufacturer. not impossible though. good luck.

Yeah, I looked to, thought it would be hell... Who knew, easiest thing EVER! Lift ur car, black pump with two hoses, and a wire clip, remove, and replace. And whoever said clamp the hoses = genius

i was under the car checking things out and the engine was still hot.. man the pump was roasting, I realized that cant be good for the life of the pump and im sure its heating up the water. the aluminum bracket that holds it just transfers all the heat from the block. we need a phenolic spacer for the pump like there is for the intake.
