Hey scottd07, what did you do to get it in? Was the axle the solution or did you go someother route? I was also wondering why can you not use the esisting studs and just replace the factory bolts? Let me know will you?

Wow...now that is overpricing. This is depressing. I had made plans to buy a lot of stuff from JBP. I was going to go with their wild build crate engine, and their intake, and their exhaust system. I e-mailed them and they say that you need to take it to a professional to get it to fit. but after eharing it rubs on the firewall...its not worth it to take it somewhere, get it installed, and get a 3 inch intake that doesn't fit. I can get something that will fit for a cheaper price.

I sent them an e-mail, and they were very curteous, but I never thought to find a picture of it installed. I hope JBP can redeem themselves or something, otherwise, I may have to change my plans on what I want to buy (which I am already doing).

I am starting to lean that way, seriously. Sadly, it looks like good stuff. But its overpriced, and if it doesn't fit and has problems....not worth it.

I agree with you that their stuff looks great and promising, but none of it works. Let alone the price on it, overkill and a half.

Judging by everything else they make, they're expensive and probably suck more than our pistons do.

JBP Warnings

Hi there. I did a bit of research before buying their vortex system with the header, downpipe, exhaust and intake, but i was unlucky enough to not find and read this thread. I am still waiting for most of the parts, and i had to send my header back to get fixed because the flange on mine was warped as well (I noticed someone a few posts back mentioned theirs had the same problem). I have yet to receive all the parts or start installing them, so I may be one of the lucky ones. But for the sake of all those out there who may in the future stumble across Mev's shitty shop, and not have the benefit of finding out the info posted here about his crap, could someone post a sticky or something similar to warn anyone who considers buying the jbp header and what not, so that anyone coming to this site for advice will be notified right away of the mistake they would be making.

Thank You.
