JBP Ported S/C!!!
sweeeeet!!!
JP0928 - JBP Ported M62 Eatons Supercharger
Price: [$622 (US$541.14)]
The M62 Supercharger has been sand casted from the factory. This provides a non-pourous surface with casting flashes and sharp edges. What this means is that turbulance and air flow dynamics is interupted.
Our skilled porting team has offered a port matched M62 Supercharger with radiused egdes to provide non-turbulant air flow. Porting your supercharger is not like porting your cylinder head, it requires special tools to ensure aluminum filings are not introduced into the inner working of the supercharger itself. Also, it is imperative that intake runners are not too smooth.
We know just the right combination to provide maximum gains. With over 80 different burr tools, blending bits and abrasive rolls, JBP will ensure power gains that are unforseen from our competators.
Customer must provide supercharger for porting. Two good cores are typically in stock continuously, this reduces turn around time. Next Day Air available for addition charge.

I'm sure jbp can do the job well, but if you want your sc done and get yours back use www.stiegemeier.com. They have my sc right now and they also will be doing the intake porting (they have my intake also). These guys have been porting eatons on fords for years and know them very well. He also garentees the most power compared to others. Check them out.

do you have anything protecting the filter from the water or slush, i know when i go to the drive through car wash the jets spray from underneath, should i be concerned when buying this intake or is it tucked away nicely.
yeah, see, the thing about these companies saying this is that they really need to start including some documented gains or all i see is them saying they can do something with no real concrete proof.
i am interested to know more though

One thing that sucks is that you won't be able to drive your car for a good week at least. It's a good idea though for when you want to squeeze every single ounce of hp out of the engine that you can.

Another vote for steigmeier. They have a great reputation in the cobra crowd. Not sure what the gains are, but I'm sure there are gains to be had, we just need someone to send out for a port and post up the results.
i was working with a company in l-ville KY about porting the blower and they said about $500 was the cost, but expected 15hp gains at the most. they said they would love to see someone squeeze more than 15hp out of a p&p job, but the chances of it happening are extremely slim.
