Your going to be sorry when UPS shows up at your door. You should have bought the two items seperatly.

I bought the exhast (no tip) from CED. $351 for the Exhast, $66 for shipping and UPS shows up at my door and wants another $76.51.

When I had them ship me my Stage 2 kit I got them to send it via USPS. That way I only have to pay the GST on it.

When your items come in, can you post how much UPS wanted for brokerage and ****?

Dealer really can't cause you grief with any cat back system... I however most likely screwed the pooch when I installed the header and downpipe... Oh well, the 260+ whp is worth it

If your going to stick with stage 2 the GMPP exhaust is fine. If your going to go beyond that then you should go with a 2.5. But really how much HP are we talking here between a 2.25 and a 2.5.... 5HP maybe?? GMPP was a great deal before the price increase , so i really don't see it as a waste . Besides that ... most people keep the stock downpipe anyway, so what's the difference .

You mean look alike dual exhaust? A dummy muffler that Y's off of a single pipe system?? Yeah thats the way to go ... A muffler for each liter . 2.0 = 2.0 mufflers

With just stage 2 you got a 8 or 9 mph trap increase with a header and DP ??

Duals on a 4 cyl? It's kind of hard to have a true dual setup when you have ONE exhaust manifold.

If you had a 4-2-1 mani instead of going down to 1 you could go right out the back

I'm expecting to get charged at least an extra 100$. no biggie. I'll just work a little overtime to pay it off.

jesus stop flaming this guy for buying a GM Performance part. Maybe some people here arent all worried about getting 14hp gain instead of 12hp by sacrificing warranty. Its a daily driver, just wanted some performance gains, and a deeper note and keep the warranty.

Your gonna love the GMPP man. I just have the catback performance and it sounds pretty sweet. At low RPM's its gotta rumble nothing huge, But once you hit about 4 grand and pass a car with the windows open, or go under a bridge and get on it..... OH MAN!!!! its loud!!!!!! Sounds intimidating IMO. Its just a bit of raspyness at low revs. Like a flat tone and farty. Not buzzy tho.

Buy the tip too. I went custom and it cost about the same and looks crappy. I just ordered the straight cut today and am going to hack off that other one.

lmao at this thread.
im runnin the gmpp exhaust, and well past GM stage 2.
it sounds the amazing, and it performs just as well as 2.5 inch.
same dyno, same day, my car and another car with almost the exact same mods, i came on top by a few ponies.
he has a 2.5 inch.

Then i discovered i had a broken aftermarket downpipe after the dyno...
so there would of been more powered to be had granted my part was in working order.
