IMO i think anyone who goes over 6000 rpms on a daily basis is a moron anyways... your right when it comes to people blown valve springs... but it boils down to one thing... the driver... your are how u treat your car... u treat it like ****... its gonna run like ****.... im sure gm has factored in a certain way of driving with these kits... obviously there are gonna be idiots out there complaining oh this blew in my car and that broke... question yourselves how much hell u give your cars first

I love the fact that your pushing for a company that said metal shavings are ok, dont worry about it the filter will pick them up. Not to mention their so called built proof differentials. I wish people luck if they buy from them.

Hey, a grand prix troll!!! AAAHH! Show me where they've done ANYTHING bad in the cobalt community? You should also know who Rob Archer is, and should know that he wouldn't tolerate anything like that. Also, do a search, the mods don't want any drama brought from the grand prix forums about our vendors. You will be banned.

No Drama, all info is searchable and true. I do believe STRONGLY that people should know everything about a company that they buy from. My last post only disagreed with the fact that you think they are the greatest thing sence sliced bread

I know who Rob is, I have alot of respect for him and what he has accomplished. Even some of the MODS I have are because of the results and success he had. Why do you always have to bring him up in 99% of your post?

Also just because a company help Rob reach 12's in 4 months only proves they push products out with no long term testing. Case in point, st 3 kit was out supper quick. I buy from companys that have put the time and money into somthing that is safe, not one that pushes products only to make money.

IM here to learn and teach what I know. If I was just a troll I would be bashing and causing drama. Look at all of my previous post, I might have questioned a few things but no where did I ever bash or cause drama. If I'm banned then so be it, wont ruin my day. My appologies for going off topic.

First, I never said that INTENSE is the greatest thing since sliced bread-they're far from it. Way to exagerrate. Second, Rob tested everything before allowing INTENSE to put it on their site, nice try. There's nothing on their site for Cobalts that Rob hasn't already tested. Rob is not in 99% of my posts, I brought him up this time because you're from clubzzp, I mean clubgp. I knew that you would know him, and what he's about, and thought that might knock some sense into you about INTENSE. You can count my posts, and count how many talk about Rob, if you feel like proving how dumb that sounded. So far you haven't taught anyone anything. The only thing you've done is badmouth INTENSE, and make yourself look "uneducated" about INTENSE in the cobalt world. Do you homework, search, and read before you start badmouthin ANY of our vendors, not just INTENSE. As for teaching, I'll give you a crash course. The S/C cobalt is faster then the GTP's stock for stock, and are already intercooled allowing us to run more boost easily. We come with Gen V's stock, and you guys have to spend a decent chunk to get one. Our tranny's are way better than yours, and we're faster with less mods. We can't tune our PCM's yet, but got to the 12's with just the equivalent of an AFC. We do have wheelhop issues. There you go, now all you have to do is 2 things, trade your L67 in for a Cobalt SS, and stop badmouthing vendors, and you'll fit right in!!!

Sorry for being off topic, PM if anyone wishes to continue this conversation.

I plan on buying the GM Stage 2 kit for this summer and then wait and to see what comes out next year in the lines of aftermarket stuff cuz im really not big into tricking the computer, im not badmouthing INTENSE or anything i just want to methodically build my car from the ground up basically. Sorry for anyone who thinks i take building horsepower to seriously its just that i want it done right the first time not after im dissappointed with a product or something blows up.

I went with the GM kit and could not be happier with it. It was only 800 installed on the car and it did not make any diff in the fuel econamy when not on boost and it gave me alot more power when I am on boost.

For 800 bucks you just cant beat it.

those that say they dont want to "trick"the compute better not get any kit at all, because even the GM flash is tricking your computer. using the MAFT isnt a big deal, i would however not get a MAFT (comes in the intense stage 3) if you dont have access to a good tuner, or at a minimum logging software with a wideband.

Quick question:
I plan on buying the Stage 2 kit within the next 2 months. Before spending around a grand on that and probably a MagnaFlow exhaust I'd like to make sure that this kit does make a serious difference on speed and takeoff of the car. What are the biggest advantages of the kit? Are there any other products that are a must when buying this kit? Thank you.
