For Discounts, if you guys can wait, and hold off buying them the day they come out i can get you 50% OFF DEALER COST.
thats 50% off the price before the dealer gets them, unless its a direct ship part, that we will find out soon. More than likely 75% of the parts i can get the discount on the others might have to pay full price for, but you will still save maybe 50-200 bucks honestly not sure yet. Just the shipping might make it not worth it depending on where your located, and how much it weighs.

The exhaust kits and the header are avaiable from gmpartsdiect.com the others showed as unavailable

These parts wont show up in all computers, not all of them have hit the warehouse shelfves yet, and wont show up on parts direct until the warehouses have scanned them in and the become an actual part(by actual part i mean actual active part number showing it as a part that is being sold)

If it ends up that low, I might as well have bought the GTO.

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I just looked up all the part numbers and the only one's that registered were the exhaust part numbers.

Ecotec Supercharged Exhaust Manifold

Gain 30 CFM in your exhaust with this Extrudehone manifold.

I would assume the exhaust we would want is the performance exhaust (17802111). Too bad it didn't tell u if it was 2.5" cat-back or what. So i'm assuming we could buy the exhaust parts now if we wanted. And buying the Exhaust Manifold from GM Parts Direct ($234.50 + shipping) and it adds 30 cfm more how does this compare to TOG or SCDyne?

I don't know if that is true or not. I never heard that Borla was goin in with GM. Borla is coming out with their own exhaust and it will be much more expensive than the prices listed.

that 2.2L S/C kit is pathetic...$3,388 for 35HP? Must not be running any boost at all so I doubt it comes with intercooler or larger injectors or anything to be able to upgrade without spending tons more money.

Just think guys, in like 3 years from now we will be looking back to when these kits were released and thinking yeah, we didn't have crap back then!

I can't wait for these upgrades. I am definitely getting stage 1 then stage 2 afterwards. I want to learn how to control that power in stages...lol

i dont think gas mileage will suffer all that much unless your WOT all the time ... think about it the car is only gonna use enough gas as is needed to maintain speed right? so adding all sorts of goodies to the car wont affect its overall performance unless your throttle position asks for it ... no?

I work for a dealership family that also has a chevy store, and according to their parts system the only thing available for ordering right now is the manifold. The part numbers for the stage kits dont show up yet as valid numbers.

they will as soon as the parts warehouse gets them, the manifolds and exhaust shipped before the kits, i emailed the guy again today, for release dates last time i only asked for prices. By monday i should have public release dates.

About 50% of the parts i have are active numbers right now, the other half arent (active) yet but they exist

Don't you just love it when you're right !

If it's 175 "WHP" then that would make a little more sense since I believe the 2.2L are running somewhere in the ballpark of 117whp right now (I can't remember where I saw this dyno but I don't think I'm imagining it ). In the pic I referenced GM could have possibly rated the "200hp" at the crank since a loss of 25hp to the wheels would be about right.

I guess the best way to find out would be to call GMP and see what they have to say...too many numbers flying around .

Does anyone know if the staged kits come with badges? Because if not I am going to look online to find a company that will custom make one.

Your joking right? The vette is quoted by GM as running 11.7 at 125 mph in the 1/4 "on street tires". unless you plan on dumping about 10 grand into the cobalt with a stroker kit and a turbo -labor. It's impossible
