Hey all...
I'm noticing a ''Klunking'' sound/feel when I put my car into first. I just put my Pirellies back on for the summer but I doubt it has anything to do with my tires. My car shifts really smooth and I shift over 3000rpms all the time, and i push it like a sports car should be pushed without redlining it all the time. Maybe I'm just noticing it for the first time and its normal but I dont recall This happening on other standards that I have owned. I am extremely paranoid with my car. I love it to death so maybe I'm freekin for nothin. What do you guys think.

 

Mine does the same thing. It doesn't do it when....

You put it in first, move back to neutral, and put it in first again. Must be normal with the trans.

 

yeah, I think its just the release bearing disengaging the clutch or something, I think its normal, I hear it too

 

Yeah, I've heard the same noise from my car also from time to time!

 

Thanks guys. I figured it wasnt anything major, its not making an awful metal on metal or grinding sound. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks again.

 

i noticed that and a few weeks later my diff blew up
