Lean CEL W/ Intense 3

Well, Ive been using an Injen intake with no problems for quite some time, but recently, ive installed a 2.8 pulley, MAF-T and the direct fit 44's from CPP and at first it was having what looked like spark blowout from improperly gapped plugs, so i regapped then and its much better, however it is now throwing the PO171 code.. Im waiting on an AEM uego to monitor AFR's but this sounds like a common problem.. i was thinking its maybe because the added boost is inducting more air through the intake and making the MAF think its running lean? i know that there have been quite a few threads on this, but my situation was a little bit different any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is colder out now, so the car may go lean. Be very careful if it is. Intenses tune were not designed to be used with an aftermarket intake. They are strictly for the stock intake only! Contact Intense to see if they can help you out. Why the hell are you running a MAF-T and 44's with an Intense tune? Intenses tunes are for exactly what's included in their kits. Maybe you could enlighten us on your setup a little bit more because your info is a little confusing.

Tune isnt designed for the intake. Go back to the stock intake until you can get it retuned. Get that windband installed ASAP.

Yes definately . Get the intense stage 3 tuned pcm or hp tuners . Go back to the stock airbox with a drop in filter . I made 1 less hp and the same TQ with a Injen intake over my modded stock airbox with a 9" dry AEM filter . I sold the Injen , and went back the stock box so the maf was in the stock location and havent thrown a lean code since .
