the majority of what goes on with lsj's is that if u have a factory car that can handle the beating then its good to go..if u happened to be the lucky one to pop a piston and had to rebuild..ur fucked.....FOREVER with that lsj
So far I know of 3 built LSJ's on this forum with 0 issues. I am hoping Dans RL (once he gets the oil cooler) will be the 4th.

as for **** breaking. I'm just waiting. and thats when I hit up Al and the gang, buy a bunch of beer and burgers, and have em crash at my house for a few days lol.
Trans is an issue though, I only have the one in the car, and they aren't easy to come by over here apparently. So if it goes, Auto will be swapped in.
and isn't AAA gold plus up to 100 miles per tow for 4 tows a year? I never got charged anything for my tows

paul. i was thinking the same thing. if my trans goes. i can get a gp/ls4 trans for dirt. just send it to a local guy and have it built. then again, thats further down the road on a stand alone system, and gt42r with a bottle. then again. we all have our distant dreams
