My engine is fine its not built and is pushed harder than most. The trans happend to be my weak link due to my axles destryoing ****.

I don't give it hell often just when tuning and at the track for the most part.

 

the majority of what goes on with lsj's is that if u have a factory car that can handle the beating then its good to go..if u happened to be the lucky one to pop a piston and had to rebuild..ur fucked.....FOREVER with that lsj

So far I know of 3 built LSJ's on this forum with 0 issues. I am hoping Dans RL (once he gets the oil cooler) will be the 4th.

nope the axles were outside of warranty, but they warrantied them for me so i guess i cant complian to bad.

lol I beat the ever living **** out of my car. If I don't do at least 5-6 WOT 1-4 runs everytime I drive it, well I'm in traffic lol.
as for **** breaking. I'm just waiting. and thats when I hit up Al and the gang, buy a bunch of beer and burgers, and have em crash at my house for a few days lol.
Trans is an issue though, I only have the one in the car, and they aren't easy to come by over here apparently. So if it goes, Auto will be swapped in.

and isn't AAA gold plus up to 100 miles per tow for 4 tows a year? I never got charged anything for my tows

paul. i was thinking the same thing. if my trans goes. i can get a gp/ls4 trans for dirt. just send it to a local guy and have it built. then again, thats further down the road on a stand alone system, and gt42r with a bottle. then again. we all have our distant dreams

 

I think the auto swap would be the way to go. I'd love to swap one in. Don't know too much about them though.

they start with the base of the 4t65e-hd from the ls4 world. gm pulled a retard move and made stronger parts on things that don't break. go figure.
