Also, I want to see what a built motor will do with race gas, and a 2.6" pulley on that thing.

2.5" ring has already been ran on the TVS.

2.75 is said to be the smallest you can go before it turns into a heaton

i haven't bugged them for charts. they had a big dyno challenge this weekend so im not pressing the issue right now. i do know that i was having tach signal issues on the rollers. so the torque may look kinda funky

no he's not. there is a bigger problem apparent that people are not thinking about with the tvs. it's not a fuel issue. nor is it a bottom end issue.

Him and I were talking about him using a 2.5 and how crazy it was. W/e, I'm not worried about that. But what issue are you speaking of Bryan?

reversion in the intake manifold for one. air flow across the stock head/stock cammed car. the tvs will move air. thats not a problem. it's getting it to be useable air is the problem.

witt and lsj would know more in this matter than i would.

if anything, the exhaust side needs it more. then port match the manifold to the gasket on the intake side.

Hmmm.... proper runners... optimum plenum... less mid-range flow pulsing.... less post-cooler turbulence...

On the 2.75" iat2's were 40* above iat1 in the 1/4. the 2.5 makes a lot of heat so a ported intake should allow for a nice gain with my car. The killer chiller shouldn't hurt either.

The car made 1hp and 5 tq more on the 2.5", i had to pull 6* timing becuase it was knocking in third gear, felt stupid at 21* though.

Why does Al's TVS/Motor seem to be fine. Track and street. I guess we are just pro here.

That is cause it wasn't built in PA. Something in the California air that makes sleeves crack IMO. Plus he wanted to reuse the headgasket 4 times, not I.
