holy crap dude, i just read this whole post and i'm sorry for your situation. now, you had an issue, got the engine rebuilt... didn't work out too well, got it rebuilt. AGAIN. and yet, it still is fucked up? you may be able to cash in on the lemon law... how old is your car?? if you've had it for less than 18 months, you could serve GM and get your car replaced...
if not, then tell them you are completely unsatisfied with your car and would either like 1) a new motor, not a rebuilt... tell them it would be advantageous to them due to lass labor time fixing a broken engine, and better for the customer since you'll have a better product, the one you were supposed to have. or 2) a new ******* cobalt. this is nuts!
my father has always been one of the most outspoken people i know when it comes to situations like these... how many times he's battled it out with people over faulty appliances from bbq's to toasters, even a transmission that was 4 months out of a 1 year warranty on my old thunderbird! i have learned a lot from him... ok back on track tho.
march down there, take no for an answer, drive with them in the car, show em how screwed up it is, and DEMAND that you have your car in 100% working order. NO is not an option. if they give you any bullshit, take it to corporate and hit up GM. they will not leave you hanging and say "screw you pal" they can't afford to burn their customers right now...
well judging by your last post, they have the car., do you have any idea what their first plan of action might be? diagnosis and fix, for the 3rd time? are they thinking about replacement? or do you have to wait until tomorrow to find out...
