I’m just wondering if anyone has had there cars Decibel range checked and what you’re idle was. Mine was a staggering 89.1 DP’s and with half a shot it was 122dp's LMAO. Legal in my area is only 96 DP’s so I'm only 7 away when I idle anyone else have the same outcome?

 

what exactly is ur definition of idle?

 

meaning sitting still car on but not touching the gas.

thts pretty darn loud for an idle.... probably to loud for comfort, cant image driving and WOT noise

now im slightly interested in mine, my idle is pretty quite, not driving noise. a buddy of mine has a windsheild sound gauge, might check for ***** and giggles.

want to hear something a bit messed up... i get pulled over for my exhaust like a month ago (which is really not all that loud) and 10 min later on the ride home i hear a motorcycle cop driving with an exhaust at least twice as loud....

 

yea mine is way over the legal limit but all the bikes around hear are way louder than me but i would get puller over 10x's faster than anyone of them because cops like bikes and not tuners.

mines pretty loud don't know how many dbs but its pretty much straight pipe and at WOT ouch your getting pulled over so igot to take it easy.but you right bikes are way louder althought i;m louder the some of them

 

motorcycles dont have to pass emissions...
their volume is also a safety feature to warn cars of their locations since they frequently zip around in traffic etc.
