Low coolant issues
Low coolant issues
Right now I am sitting at Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny and they are looking over my car. I brought it in because I had gotten a low coolant warning on my DIC, well I filled it back up to the full line and drove it for about 3k miles than I got the low coolant warning again. I have looked it over pretty good, no signs of any leaking or any other signs of problems like puddles white smoke in the exhaust etc..
Any idea where it could possibly be leaking?

same here. i wonder where it goes because the car run 110% so i'm 99% positive its not the head gasket, but there is no leaking anywhere. I even got a lemon law check from gm because they couldn't figure out the problem.

Well guys, they put the pressure tester on it for about 2 and a half hours and imagine that, no drop in pressure, no puddles.. not even a drip.
Looks like shes not leaking.

I think when the coolant moves around in the tank on a hard pull the car thinks the level is low. Never had it come on during normal driving, and my car stays at 178-181 degrees F.
