LSJ/LNF/LE5 valve springs all the same?

Couldn't find any different part number for the valve springs, was wondering if there was any difference in height or seat pressure for any of the ecotec valve springs? I noticed ZZP only lists LNF valve springs as an OEM replacement but no part #. Was curious if its the same spring across the board.

Every stock valve spring is the same, 54 lb I believe. The only difference is the change in rockers over the years.

so i imagine the cheapest spring upgrade is the zzp #82 spring kit? Do you know if these are specially made or they just getting them from another car with a higher spring pressure that somehow fits these motors? I've been trying to find a cheaper alternative, if I can find an OEM spring that matches it wouldnt cost much more then 5 bucks a spring lol

Although ZZP valvesprings are cheaper that's without the titanium retainers, once you include those in the cost I'd just rather get the supertech #75 springs.

I have some OEM 06 LSJ springs and retainers for sale. Not sure what you were putting them in or if you are trying to find aftermarket OEMS. Pm me if you are looking for OEM.

I'm probably going to be getting a set of mild regrinds made for my 2.4 SC swap, and I was looking to see if the LNF's were a little heavier then the LE5 or LSJ springs but it seems theres no difference. I would hate to over spring the valvetrain, ive never had good results running heavy springs when the cam didnt require it.

Yes. They are all the same.

Rocker design changed in late 07' though. Luckily my car came with the new design.

Yup. I'd go with the supertechs.

I've been running the 75# kit in my car for over year now with many 7500 rpm blasts.

Why supertech over ZZP?

Supertech uses a dual spring design.

For the price of zzp springs with ti retainers, you can get a supertech spring kit.

If you are on a budget build, zzp springs are great, and are still great quality springs.

Supertech offers a few different springs for the ecotec....

75#, 76#, & 94#

They used to offer 78#, but had some clearance issues with them.

So only the 78# had clearance issues.

I am about to buy fuel cam and some springs but am kind of afraid of supertechs after hearing about grinding the head

installing with head on car..

good luck keeping lash adjusters in the engine with a set of reground stock cams and also keeping the valve guides in the head also
