LSJ running out of injector bone stock?

Logged my car this morning....at around 5500 the injectors are at 140% duty cycle!
this car is bone stock minus a K&N. Recently put it to bone stock until I learned how to tune it myself. All it had was a ported blower....stock pulley.

Is this normal for these cars?

was this before or after you started tuning it yourself?

This.

Def check the pump, filter, and run some injector cleaner through the fuel system.

The stock injectors run high IDC's (pw's), but not that high.

Also, how cold was it when u logged the pull?

Let's all sit back in our seats and think about this for a second.......

now... Would GM put injectors in one of their "sportier" cars that couldn't go to redline without maxing them out?

Well, no, if you arent a tuner who feels 80% duty cycle is bad....

The stock 34lb/hr injectors will near max at the 6500 rpm rev limit on a stock car.

Not that they can't handle this, or something is going to go wrong, but it has been a well known fact for years.

This.

That's why I asked about temp during the log.

If they wouldn't then why is the first stage kit simply injectors and a tune for them?

If his IDC is way up, shouldn't he be getting P0171?

They give you bigger injectors and a tune with stage one because after 6500 the stock injectors are over 100%. So bigger injectors are needed to handle a 7K Rpm and a tune revision that makes it possible to go past 6500 so your not over 100% on IDC cause of said bigger injectors.. Which even then GM revised there stage tunes from 7K back to 6500 after alot of people blew up on Stage 2.. (me included) This has been known for years... It can go to redline of 6.5K with bone stock injectors on stock pulley just fine if there is no fueling issues. But past 6.5k should not happen as it's called a revlimit for a reason!
