MAF P101 problems

Long story short.. i have the TVS now with the 2.6 and 80 lb siemens..

put the OTT 3 inch intake on and started throwing MAF P101 codes.. and the car would run rediculously rich at PE.. pins at 10.0 on the wideband

thought the MAF sensor was shot so i put in a new one.. 4 or 5 hours later.. same code.. shitty throttle response, bucking under acceleration, sputtering.. runnin like hell for the most part

changed air filters to a dry flow and i have the same problem, finally revert to putting my K&n CAI back on with the new sensor, car runs fanastic, mid 11s on the AFR under WOT, runnin strong... thought i had the problem fixed, cruising home in 5th, p101 flashes on, and the car goes back to being at 10.0 under throttle..

what am i missing here? i am at a total loss for what i need to do????

is this something that needs to be worked out with tuning? and im totally lost on why swithcing back to my 2.5 intake solved the problem 100% for the entire day until now

bump

That sucks man I would throw back on the ott 3 inch and get it retuned if you havent already and let the tuner figure it out.

Did you rescale the MAF in HPTuners for 3" over a 2.5" intake?

It could be a vacuum leak. If you don't find a vacuum leak, and the car runs great all the time before the code sets, I would just delete the 101 code out of the ECM file. Otherwise, you need to have the MAF chart adjusted.
