MAP sensor and lead???

Where exactly is the MAP sensor on our engines (2.0 LSJ) ? Also what wire is the MAP lead wire? I'm trying to wire up my DevilsOwn meth injection and need to splice the progressive controller into MAP lead.... Help please

The Map is located on top of the manifold to the left of the supercharger housing (near the serpentine belt)if you're looking at the front of the engine. It should have four wires to it... dark green/white, light blue, dark green, and gray. You want the gray one for a signal.

No problem. That info is according to alldatapro. Im not near a car right now to verify that, but their info is correct 99% of the time.

He's talking about a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. MAF cars usually have a MAP sensor to read barometric pressure changes as well as act as a failsafe.

We actually have all 3 sensors, plus an additional MAP located before the supercharger but after the throttle plate. The car uses MAF exclusively for fueling but calculates projected models of incoming air based off the two MAPs and TPS to make sure the MAF and electronic throttle are operating correctly. When these models don't match up, thats what causes limp mode. Little FYI.

That was the grey one right? As it looks front the picture above.

Oh yeah, one more thing, where did you get at the wire to splice onto it?

Bump for more info!
